Lyme and Co-Infections: Literacy, Advocacy, & Services

You don’t have to suffer alone.

Our approach

We use three pillars in our approach to help those in need.

Literacy

Annual case of Lyme disease are one the rise and there is conflicting information about Lyme and Co-Infections. A Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD) will prescribe 6-8 weeks of doxycycline for a tick bite whereas a Primary Care Provider (PCP) may give 2 weeks of doxycycline for a tick bite, but only if the tick was on you for 24 hours or more. We will work with our team to get the information you need to get you better.

Advocacy

Our second pillar is Advocacy. People with Lyme often cannot use their insurance for treatment as a chronic Lyme diagnosis has strict parameters. Ideally, we can advocate to prevent chronic. Lyme with effective early treatment and change the Lyme diagnosis criteria.

Services

The third pillar is Services. We want to offer a variety of services such as medical treatment, mental health services, and holistic treatment.

My 26-year-old son was diagnosed with Lyme 18 months ago and we have barely moved the needle towards wellness. Daily I read multiple support group entries. Lyme is an inhumane disease. Awareness, change and much help is needed.

Help those in need today.
